Job Description
Position: Battery Technician Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) Pay Rate: $16/hour Job Description As a Battery Technician, you will play a key role in the repair, refurbishment, and repurposing of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. Working in a fast-paced team environment, you will support the production process by ensuring batteries are restored to optimal condition. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and test incoming battery packs. Sort and organize materials as needed. Perform minor diagnostics to identify root causes of battery issues. Disassemble battery packs, separating components for recycling. Rebuild battery packs using calibrated tools, installing new parts (Arrays, BBM’s, BECM’s, etc.). Test rebuilt batteries using advanced cyclers and test stands to ensure proper functionality. Prepare and stage batteries for shipment. Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior assembly or technical experience is a plus. Proficiency in reading and writing English. Basic computer skills. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, kneeling, climbing, etc.). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable transportation. Why Join Us?
