1st Shift Recycling Center Operator

Midway Staffing is now hiring a Recycling Room Operator.This role is part of the Recycling Center Division, where you’ll help drive production efficiency while meeting daily goals and maintaining quality and safety standards. All training, tools, and protective equipment will be provided. Job SummaryAs a Recycling Room Operator, you may be trained to work across all stations in the recycling room. This position takes place in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment where dust is present. For your protection, full hazmat gear and a PAPR (respirator) are required; these are provided upon completion of a medical evaluation and fit test. Shift, Pay & Location ?? Location: Oklahoma City, OK ?? Pay: $19.00/hour ?? Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to company needs and possible changes during extreme weather conditions) ResponsibilitiesMaintain punctual and dependable attendance Follow all safety and health procedures; assist in implementing safety updates as directed Adhere to company policies and production SOPs Prepare batteries for shredding, operate shredding equipment, sort shredded materials, and remove processed material Perform other duties as assigned by management QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations preferred MUST pass background check and drug testSkills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Clear communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass medical evaluation and fit test for respirator use Ability to pass background check and drug screen Physical RequirementsLift up to 50 lbs. individually; up to 137 lbs. with equipment or team lift Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting Strong hand/eye coordination and dexterity Ability to perform physical tasks safely in a fast-paced environment Work Environment & PPENon-climate-controlled warehouse environment Required PPE includes steel/composite toe shoes, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, full hazmat suit, and PAPR (respirator) Must pass medical evaluation and fit test ??
