1st Shift Electrical Wiring Tech

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Wiring Technician to assemble, wire, and mount components and sub-assemblies for electrical control equipment. This role involves working independently, reading wiring diagrams, and ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in electrical assembly, and committed to teamwork and production excellence.

Location: Phoenix, AZ!

Schedule: 5 am - 1:30 pm / Overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $21

Duties:

• Wire control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and automatic transfer switches (ATS)

• Assemble electrical switchboard equipment and sub-assemblies according to specifications

• Wire electronics including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

• Read wiring diagrams and follow oral or written instructions to complete assignments independently

• Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and codes

• Maintain workflow progress, reporting problems or part shortages promptly

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, including overtime when required

• Follow scheduled start/stop times and break periods

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing

• Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly (panelboards/switchboards preferred)

• Experience wiring power meters and controls

• Proficient with hand tools, manual/electric/pneumatic tools, measuring/testing equipment, and safety equipment

• Ability to read wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams

• Dependable and trustworthy

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
