Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: St. Charles, IL

Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in St. Charles, IL. This role is responsible for company pickups and deliveries, preparing shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.

• Process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.

• Load and unload trucks safely and accurately.

• Maintain all inventory and shipment documentation in company portals.

• Ensure materials are accounted for and no damaged items are sent or received.

• Compare packing lists to purchase orders and verify shipments.

• Package products for returns and complete required paperwork.

• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience with shipping, receiving, forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory systems.

• Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Good communication skills and ability to read/write English fluently.

• Team player with reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Important Notes
This role requires regular in-person attendance and comfort with repetitive lifting, long periods of standing/walking, and operating warehouse equipment. Safety is a top priority.
