Production Technician

Job Title: Production Technician
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $22.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, including material handling, mill loading, batch processing, and packaging of finished products. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to work independently after training, and comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve materials from the warehouse using batch tickets and stage them for production.

• Lift and move bags and materials weighing up to 55 lbs consistently throughout the shift.

• Load materials into mills according to batch ticket specifications.

• Set up mills, monitor processing, and ensure proper operation according to procedures.

• Dump mills and move tubs and containers around the mill room as required.

• Assist with packaging finished batches into cartons or drums.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly.

• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to follow written instructions and batch tickets accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Must be able to work independently after initial training (within the first few weeks).

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
