Position Overview

Midway Staffing is seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for a fast-paced distribution facility in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently selecting, palletizing, labeling, and transporting products within a production-driven warehouse environment.

Essential Requirements & Responsibilities

• Reliable transportation to and from work is required

• Will be asked to perform additional warehouse duties as needed

• 1–3 years of experience operating double pallet jacks or forklift (required – no exceptions)

• Experience with order picking

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly 

• Build pallets and secure loads to prevent shifting or tipping

• Must be able to work overtime, including holidays and weekends, as business needs require

Job Duties

• Operate electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts safely and efficiently

• Select correct products from warehouse racking

• Label products using SOS label technology

• Palletize product according to proper selecting procedures

  • No heavy-on-light stacking

  • Labels facing outward

• Stage pallets at designated dock locations

• Stretch-wrap product on loading dock

• Deliver completed pallets to docks safely and efficiently

• Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections

• Maintain and safely operate assigned equipment, including pallet jacks, SOS units, and required PPE

• Follow Sysco Safe preferred work methods and all sanitation and safety requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to meet or exceed engineered production standards

• Work at a constant, fast-paced rate for the entire shift

• Strong knowledge of product placement and inventory control procedures

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and job performance

• Basic arithmetic skills

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Physically capable of performing required warehouse duties
