Midway Staffing is Hiring – QC Technician (1st Shift)
Location: Roselle, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Some weekends required
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview
The QC Technician is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality throughout the production process. This role supports packaging operations by performing inspections, monitoring workflow, and ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
You will work alongside production teams and leadership to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across multiple production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document routine quality inspections and production checks
Monitor packaging processes for defects and inconsistencies
Report non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions when needed
Train and support packers on quality procedures and expectations
Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with standards
Collaborate with Team Leads and Operations to resolve production issues
Communicate effectively with team members to maintain workflow efficiency
Identify raw material issues and escalate to leadership
Maintain accurate documentation and sample records per SOPs
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow standardized procedures and instructions
Good communication skills (Spanish bilingual is a plus)
Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (ruler, scale, micrometer)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Flexible to work overtime and occasional weekends
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with moving machinery
Exposure to heat and humidity
Moderate to high noise levels
PPE required at all times
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs
Occasional computer and documentation tasks
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1–3 years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
Knowledge of SOPs and quality standards is a plus
