FORKLIFT / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Location: Streamwood, IL
Pay: $19.50/hr

We are hiring experienced Forklift / Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced food distribution facility in Streamwood, IL.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, powered pallet jacks, walkie riders, and hand jacks

• Move raw materials, dry goods, and finished products throughout the warehouse

• Pick and load customer orders using a Voice Picking System

• Stage completed orders or load products directly into assigned trailers

• Follow proper product rotation and warehouse flow procedures

• Inspect powered equipment before use and report safety concerns

• Complete required warehouse documentation accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, dock, and cooler area

• Follow all safety, food-handling, and warehouse procedures

• Communicate with supervisors, production, clerks, and Quality Assurance as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of forklift or warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift certification strongly preferred

• Previous experience with powered pallet jacks preferred

• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Basic math skills

• Previous Voice Picking System experience is a plus

• Food industry or distribution experience is a plus

• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

Pay: $19.50 per hour
